Of course my love of black women runs deep. I’m a black woman. My daughter is a black woman. My mother. My friends are generally women of color – and so on and so forth. I love our range of beauty – various hues, shapes and sizes, and our resilience, our collective strength.
Crazy enough, Pinterest helps me cultivate my love and curiosity about us. I told you here about my nude pinning obsession. In real life, I support women artists’ – reading books, attending live performances (burlesque, poetry, etc.) and I thrive on stories about us. I write stories about us. Well, relationship stories are quite universal. I write about relationships.
