I know you said you’ve been working on your memoir. And the other day I finished re-reading The Prisoner’s Wife by asha bandele and it made me think of you (not necessarily the plot just the fact that it’s a memoir written by another Black woman). Have you ever read it? I know bandele has written another memoir too, so maybe she’s someone you could read for inspiration. (I read for enjoyment and inspiration…so just sharing :).

Hi! Aww, my perspective would be totally different because I was a teen mom initially. That’s like a whole other set of issues. I guess I could always put an inspiring slant on it though! I hope you and baby are well. And oh, so are you going to write about the interesting position you were in? 🤔🤗

I am well BUT also kicking my butt to get back into writing. Wednesday is my ShouldWrite day. I will try and post something every Wednesday for the next 10 weeks and then have something for my short stories collection. I CANNOT wait to read more from you, sis!
