This is a bit weird! I was single for almost four years, and naturally used to being selfish.

With my new status, I have to communicate more openly, practice full disclosure, be fully available, and cater to his wants/needs. I submit to him and challenge him with equal measure. Nurture him. (Swoon!)

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine he would have a luscious British accent.

I hear it, and I savor his words.

I allow the intonations – the dips and waves in his voice – to soothe me.

I listen to the spaces, and the slight grunts and sighs between phrases.

His pauses.

His wind.

I feel him.

I’ve never had a man smile at me this way.

Peel back my layers in this way.

Stimulate me this way.

So yea, I’d say more, but I kinda wanna keep him all to myself.
